Quinta da Pedra 2015 Vinho Verde is the result of a vineyard in QUINTA DA PEDRA, one of the most historic properties in Alto Minho, with roots in the 17th century, and today it is the largest continuous Alvarinho vineyard in Portugal.

The QUINTA DA PEDRA Alvarinho 2015 White Wine, is a monovarieltal of a 100% Portuguese variety, typical of the region, its name ALVARINHO, cultivated and produced in the terroir with an Atlantic influence climate attenuated by the interior of the Monção-Melgaço sub-region, based on soils granite with generous sun exposure.

Quinta da Pedra Alvarinho Vinho Verde 2015 due to the terroir that is located in the heart and origin of the very Portuguese grape variety known to Alvarinho, framed with an atmosphere of Atlantic influence attenuated by the interiority of the Monção-Melgaço sub-region, with generous granite soils sun exposure, results in a very special wine, which must be preserved and kept in a place protected from light and without great thermal amplitudes, preferably between 12 and 14ºC, observing a longevity up to 8 years after the harvest date.

Tasting Notes: Quinta da Pedra Alvarinho Green Wine 2015 is a citrus and mineral wine, with soft notes of apple and pineapple, but very elegant on the nose, already in hollow, it is an unctuous wine with the acidity to give it freshness and longevity. It is a pleasure, now dare to discover this taste of Portugal.

Harmonization: We recommend this monovarietal, Quinta da Pedra Alvarinho Green Wine 2015, to accompany dishes of grilled fish and soft cheeses, or simply company on a summer afternoon, by the pool or at home reading a book.
