This region is called Parque Natural do Douro Internacional, Beira Interior, sub-region of Castelo Rodrigo.
Wine produced in a Terroir, Region with a Mediterranean continental climate, shale and sandstone soils. Vineyards planted in the International Douro Natural Park, on the step slopes where the river Águeda meets the river Douro, at an average altitude of 650 m.
This TINTA RORIZ DOC Organic Red Wine 2013 is vinified with grapes from organic farming and prolonged skin maceration that contributes to giving structure and longevity. Finally, he aged in French oak. Naturally stabilized wine, which can create deposits with time.
That may have sediments over time. Our vineyards and olive groves, which are certified by SATIVA, are grown with the utmost rigour, without any artificial chemical products, on the plants or soil that supports them.
The farm’s vineyards are distributed across different plots: old vines, which are over 80 years old, and new vines that grow together with the olive grove and a forest with cork oaks, pine trees and almond trees.

The Organic Red Wine TINTA RORIZ DOC 2013 is a wine Garnet-coloured wine with sweet fruit, blackberry, raspberry and ripe strawberry flavours, green notes. Well-structured wine and elegant.
