This wine is the product of one of the best of the fourteen Portuguese wine regions, the Dão.
The Casa da Anadia Dão 2014 Red Wine results from the Palace's vineyards, which are one of the most important examples of 17th century manor architecture in Portugal, with origins dating back to the 16th century.
It is a combination of grape varieties that result in an elegant wine, vinified with a pre-fermentative maceration at low temperature and with a rise in temperature during fermentation up to 26ºC and followed by very soft pumping over, and a nine-month aging in second-hand casks.
That is why we have make sure to have several representatives of Dão, one of them, this wine. Enjoy!
