You are here before a wine produced in one of the fourteen Portuguese wine regions, the Dão.
The Casa da Anadia Dão 2014 Red Wine results from the Palace's vineyards, which is one of the most important examples of 17th century manor architecture in Portugal, with origins from the 16th century.
It is a combination of grape varieties that result in an elegant wine, vinified with a pre-fermentative maceration at low temperature and with elevation of temperature during fermentation up to 26ºC and with very soft pumping over, and a nine-month aging in second casks use.
That is why we have several representatives of Dão, one of them, this Dão Wine. Enjoy!
The red wine Casa da Anadia Dão 2014 presents itself as an Elegant and mineral wine with a red, lively and intense color, on the nose we feel aromas and delicate flavors of red fruits and floral notes, a wine with an elegant body, firm tannins and great finesse in perfect balance with alcohol and acidity, making it an example of secular tradition.
