This Howard’s Folly Alvarinho 2017 Wine, is a White Wine from the Vinho Verde Region.
Produced in the Monção and Melgaço sub-region of the Vinho Verde Region in northwest Portugal, where Alvarinho grapes are exclusively grown.
This wine is made from cold climate grapes grown in the mountainous area of Melgaço, and shows the typical minerality and strong acidity derived from the local stony granite soils.
The grapes were manually selected and transported manually in 15kg plastic boxes.
Its winemaking is characterized by a bunch classified before destemming and crushing, with 48h of cold, finally, a time of aging of 4 months in light lees before stabilization by cold and bottling in May 2018
