In the Tagus region, a sparkling wine comes with 80 months of aging, in a limited edition commemorating the 80 years of the producer.
QUINTA DA LAPA Sparkling Wine 80 & 80 Blanc de Blancs, Brut Nature, Grande Reserva 2012 Limited Edition is a product from the Tagus region, made from vineyards located in a terroir with clay-limestone soil, 100% Arinto grape varieties, and its production involved a vinification with fermentation of the wine in a stainless steel vat, with controlled temperature.
The second bottle fermentation, using the classic “champenoise” method, lasted no more than 80 months, all to be a special edition.
Still, it is a Sparkling Wine that can still have a longevity in bottle for another 5 years.
The wine was bottled in a “burgundy seduction antique” bottle, with a natural cork stopper, with a guarantee of origin from the Tagus region on the back label and presented in a festive box.
