Wine in full confinement By “The Lady and Red”

I decided to keep the bottle corks that I have been opening since I am in prophylactic social isolation. I believe that later I will transform them into a kind of post-war trophy… at least that is the plan.

There are already a few.

Luckily, they remain less than the days.

I stay as far away from cirrhosis as possible.

However, I confess that despite the fact that women have a metabolism that processes alcohol differently from men, making them get drunk faster - which in some circumstances can be salvation, turning deeply boring people into bearable creatures - I have been increasing my resistance.

Most of the minimally interesting stories to be told are born out from a tragedy.

Life has introduced me to wine after a loss, better, a new life.

It introduced me to wine consumption at that time.

I come from a family that has always been passionate about wine, my grandfather, beyond being an appreciator, travelled every year to a friend's vineyard, where we could step on the grapes and bring the wine from the previous year. All these bottles served as an argument for the weekly meetings of friends in my grandfather's cellar.

For me, drinking wine is a way to connect with my origins, to remember who I am, to perpetuate the tradition.

Sometimes I tell my grandmother that wherever he is, he would be proud of me. We both laugh.

Because whoever, wherever, whenever, every wine has a history. Each bottle is a memory.

This is mine. The wine of the union. The wine of sharing. Wine with friends. The wine of travel. The wine that is life.

As Fernando Pessoa said, life is good, but wine is better!!
