From Quinta do Salvante (Trás-os-Montes) to the World.

Our mission is largely based on the originality and tradition of what is best done in Portugal. In this article we want to present a small producer of a terroir that we already share here, the Trás-os-Montes Wine Region.

Quinta do Salvante is part of our portfolio as an example producer from the most north-eastern region of Portugal, in which we find many values that are very much identified with our project.

At Quinta do Salvante, the art and passion for cultivating vines has been passed on by the owner family for 7 generations.

In 2007, this family from Trás-os-Montes decided to transpose all the love and knowledge they inherited from their ancestors and thus created a wine brand  that, later, in 2019, was reformulated.

More recently, the vineyard area was increased and a new winery was built with the name Quinta do Salvante, but always keeping the century-old vineyards as its most important heritage.

The old vines of Trás-os-Montes are known for the peculiar shape of the vines and for the diversity of varieties present along the vineyard, and between white and red grapes we can find more than 10 varieties along the old vines.

The region where Quinta do Salvante is located, Santa Valha in Valpaços, is also known for the large number of rupestrian mills that refer to the beginning of the millennium and to the production of wines by the Roman empire.

Another factor that stands out in this local producer is that in the cellar they try to maintain the most traditional way of vinification in granite vats, these with all the latest technology, such as temperature control, allows to obtain quality wines with some innovation. , without ever forgetting the origins.

In our choices, our proposal is to try the different types of Wines from this small producer in Trás-os-Montes, from Red Wine, White Wine, Rosé and Reserve Red Wine, all gathered in a single pack of Wines with six bottles.

Try it!

#proud of our producers
