CACiMBA Original 70cl Gin from Sintra 

For those who know the Serra de Sintra and its entire length up to the beaches, the name “Cacimba” needs no explanation. Sintra is a unique place, where in addition to the Palaces and gardens that inhabit it, it has the particularity of having a unique and differentiating microclimate.

The constant winds coming from the northwest, bring with them humidity, which in turn, when encountering the Serra de Sintra as an obstacle, begin to create great cloudiness, which can often generate a “small” rain, which we call “ Cacimba”.

Coincidence or destiny, it was on one of these days of intense fog that we came up with the idea of producing Sintra's first gin.  

Cacimba Gin Original is a Gin rich in botanicals from the Serra de Sintra.

In total, it is made up of around 12 botanicals, including the typical Reineta Apple, planted in the Colares region, Eucalyptus and Louro.

Tasting note: When enjoying CACiMBA Gin Original in a glass, it stands out for its intense and elegant aroma of eucalyptus and laurel that convey the aroma of the Sintra mountains and also its citrus perfume with a predominance of orange peel..

Ingredients: Reineta Apple, Eucalyptus, Laurel, Orange Peel, Lemon Peel, + Secret Ingredients.

Service example: It seemed to us that the “perfect serve” of CACiMBA Gin Original is to serve it with a slice of orange peel and a eucalyptus leaf, bringing freshness and intensifying the aroma of our Serra.
