This Quinta da Terrincha Red Wine Casa Branca 2017 is made from the Casa Branca vineyard, which is one of the oldest in Quinta da Terrincha, planted in a transitional soil between schist and granite with varieties in 'field blend' (varieties mixed in the vineyard ) which give it great aromatic complexity. Grapes hand-picked into small 40L boxes. Reception at our winery with choice, total destemming and immediate crushing. It fermented in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of 24°C. We sought in this wine the freshness and acidity that would guarantee the maximum aging potential. 2017 vintage wine with long aging and final maturation in a bottle in our cellar with temperature and humidity control.

Tasting Notes: This Quinta da Terrincha Red Wine Casa Branca 2017 is a red wine with a garnet color, the result of long aging. Great aromatic complexity with spicy notes balanced by a minty touch of green pepper and ginger, in a balanced and very elegant set. Very fresh in the mouth considering the long stage, silky with fine tannins, in a long and persistent finish.
