Alentejo Regional Wine - Alentejo Region
In pure Alentejo, we find Herdade das Assentes de Baixo, located in the heart of the Alentejo Region, between the municipality of Cuba and Alvito, inserted in the vitiguinicultural sub-region of Vidigueira, where this Sátiro White Wine 2020 is produced.
Here we have a differentiated white wine, which results from a unique production, which brings together the best of two worlds in the same bottle, the current one and the winemaking processes with more than 2000 years of history. (Like the Red Wine you can get to know by clicking here).
We believe it is a good way to pay homage to a territory full of historical heritage, namely related to Wine.
This 2020 Sátiro (Clandestino) White Wine is produced from carefully selected grapes, after being harvested in a vineyard with the Antão Vaz, Arinto and Verdelho grape varieties.
Tasting Note: Sátiro White Wine (Clandestine) 2020 is placed in the wine glass with a beautiful golden yellow color, intense aromas, but balanced on the nose, namely white fruit and notes of tropical fruits, with notes of toast from the barrel and mineral from the clay hoist. In the mouth, the palate is soft, velvety and enveloping and with an aftertaste with good acidity and volume, revealing dry, firm, but very pleasant and gastronomic.
Grape varieties / varieties: Antão Vaz, Arinto and Verdelho.
Harmonization: This Sátiro White Wine (Clandestine) 2020 from what we note on the tasting note is ideal for accompanying white meats, cold salads, oven-baked or grilled fish dishes, pasta, risottos and cheeses.
Responsible for oenology: Manuel Vargas, Eng.
