The Bairrada Wine Region is a wine-producing region, in the past, a land of passage and of conquests, of struggles between Christians and Arabs at the time of the formation of Portugal, when the capital of the kingdom was Coimbra and the path of affirmation was to the south, it is currently full of vitality, full of history, looking for a place in the future.
São Lourenço BAIRRADA 2016 White Wine is from the Bairrada Wine Region, produced with Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Arinto grape varieties, in a terroir characterized by an Atlantic influence climate, protected by the Caramulo and Buçaco mountains, in vines planted in smooth hills, with clay-limestone soils.
If you buy to store and reserve, we recommend keeping it in a place protected from light and without great thermal amplitudes, preferably between 12 and 14ºC, with a longevity of up to 6 years.
São Lourenço BAIRRADA 2016 White Wine presents a citrus color, with notes of tropical fruits such as passion fruit and pineapple on the nose, an acidity that makes it fresh in the mouth. A wine suitable for hot days :-).
Tasting Notes: Quinta da Pedra Alvarinho Green Wine 2015 is a citrus and mineral wine, with soft notes of apple and pineapple, but very elegant on the nose, already in hollow, it is an unctuous wine with the acidity to give it freshness and longevity. It is a pleasure, now dare to discover this taste of Portugal.
