The Bairrada Wine Region is a wine-producing region, in the past, a land of passage and of conquests, of struggles between Christians and Arabs at the time of the formation of Portugal, when the capital of the kingdom was Coimbra and the path of affirmation was to the south, it is currently full of vitality, full of history, looking for a place in the future.

SÃO LOURENÇO Red Wine 2016 is a wine from the Bairrada Wine Region in Portugal, one of the fourteen wine regions, with the Touriga Nacional, Merlot and Syrah grape varieties, the result of a characteristic terroir, clay-limestone soils, rolled stone on smooth slopes, climate of maritime influence, tempered by the Serra do Buçaco.

If whoever buys intends to store or reserve some bottles, they must be properly preserved, namely in an appropriate place at a temperature of 16ºC for an expected longevity of 10 years.

Tasting Notes: SÃO LOURENÇO Red Wine 2016 is a ruby colored wine with a hint of violet, which in the glass to the nose awakens sensations of black fruit aromas and grated notes of bergamot, already in the mouth, the velvety tannins adjusted to an acidity discreet, they reveal an elegant wine that can be savored with game dishes and grilled meats.

Grapes/varietes: Touriga Nacional, Merlot e Syrah.

Harmonization: We recommend SÃO LOURENÇO Red Wine 2016 to accompany meals of passion baked in the oven, red meats, grilled meats and cheeses.

Serving temperature is: Serve between 16 and 18ºC.
